Munich-based Austrian Christian Lettner has been one of the most sought-after drummers on the European scene for several years.

Immediately after graduating from the Bruckner Conservatory in Linz in the summer of 2000, Klaus Doldinger brought him into his band Passport, with whom Christian has since toured Europe, Brazil, Morocco, Korea and New Zealand and recorded 7 CDs.

He can be heard in many different formations due to his versatility and has played with: WDR Big Band, Eric Person Trio , Pee Wee Ellis, Randy Brecker, Rob Scheps Quartet, Majid Bekkas, Karl Ratzer, Peter O'Mara, Adrian Mears, Nils Landgren, Johannes Enders, Joo Kraus, Ola Onabule, Martin Grubinger "Percussive Planet", Benjamin Schmid, Berliner Philharmoniker, Josef Hader, Max Mutzke, Max Herre, Sasha and many others.

Since 01.12.2021 Christian Lettner is a professor for jazz percussion at the University of Music and Theatre Munich.
