Musician Medicine and Prevention:
Under the direction of Dr. Andreas Winkelmann from the University of Munich Hospital (KUM), our university, in cooperation with the LMU Hospital, offers students and faculty the opportunity for prevention and treatment of work-related medical conditions.
Counseling in cases of sexual harassment, abuse and discrimination:
At our university, there is zero tolerance for assaultive and discriminatory behavior, harassment, sexualized violence or abuse of power. Various internal and external contact persons are available to advise and support affected students, lecturers and employees in administration and central facilities. Among other things, a network of confidants has been established who can be asked for a confidential conversation at any time. The Career Center of our university supports, advises and accompanies students and alumni (up to five years after graduation) on their way into professional life as well as in the development of important entrepreneurial skills for a successful positioning on the music market.
